I. Innocence Aria's first clear memory was a nightmare. One of those unpleasant occurences that seemed to lurk in the depths of her mind, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. That bad dream always found its way back to her; it grew alongside her, like a demon she couldn't escape. In her restless sleep, Aria tossed and turned, bedsheets wrinkled beneath her small form. Her face was contorted in pain and she looked as if she were about to cry. In her dream, Aria saw a storm. The rain fell harshly against the old windows of her room, pushed by powerful gusts of wind. It never stopped, nor did it slow down, but grew stronger instead, a threat to her safety, an enemy to her home. As lightning after lightning waltzed across the pitch black night sky, thunder hit in the distance, pulling her awake from her slumber, even as she still dreamed.
